Terms of service

These terms apply when you use laztech.online or any LazTech service. By requesting a service, you agree to them. Your signed project agreement may add specific terms for your project; where it differs from these terms, the agreement applies.

1. Our services

LazTech offers project ideas, idea improvement sessions, prototype builds (hardware and software), and writing assistance, editing and presentation slides for final year projects. We may decline any request that is outside our skills, unsafe, or unlawful.

2. Estimates and final prices

• Any estimate shown on the website is a rough guide only. The final price and delivery date may be higher or lower.
• The confirmed price and delivery date are those on your invoice and signed agreement, sent to your email after the LazTech team reviews your request.
• Rush delivery costs more because components are bought individually at short notice.

3. Payment and installments

• Project ideas are paid in full before the idea is delivered.
• For other paid services, you may pay in two installments: 70/30 for totals below ₦100,000, 60/40 for totals from ₦100,000 to ₦200,000, and 50/50 above ₦200,000.
• Work begins once the first installment is received. The final installment is due on completion, before handover.

4. Delivery

• Delivery within Abuja and Kaduna is free.
• Elsewhere, sturdy items are sent by waybill for pickup at your bus stop, and fragile items are delivered by hand. Any delivery cost is shown on your invoice.

5. Late delivery

If we deliver after the date in your signed agreement, we compensate you ₦1,000 for each day late, unless the delay is caused by changes you requested, late payment, missing information from you, or events outside our reasonable control.

6. Changes and revisions

Changes to a project's scope after the agreement is signed may change the price and delivery date. Changes to written work after final delivery are charged per word changed, at the rate we confirm before making the change.

7. Support

We will help and guide you on the project we delivered until your project is completed, including explaining how it works.

8. Your responsibilities and academic rules

Our written work is offered as writing assistance and editing, and each tier states the expected level of AI involvement. You are responsible for understanding and following your institution's rules on assistance, collaboration and the use of AI, and for how you use and present the work we deliver.

9. Refunds and cancellations

If you cancel after work has started, we may keep the part of your payment that covers components already bought and work already done. Contact us at admin@laztech.online to discuss any cancellation.

10. Liability

Prototypes are built for academic demonstration, not for commercial or safety-critical use. Our total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid for it.
